Scare on the Square
"Scare on the Square" is an annual event hosted by the Bethany Chamber of Commerce, bringing the community together for a night of family-friendly fun.
On Halloween evening, the downtown square transforms into a festive Halloween wonderland, featuring trick-or-treating at local businesses, exciting costume contests, and a variety of activities for all ages. Whether you're a little ghoul looking for candy or an adult wanting to show off your creative costume, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
Hometown Holiday
Celebrate the Christmas season in downtown Bethany. Santa, a gingerbread house contest, ugly sweaters, live carolers, performances, a live nativity and shopping in the afternoon.
Enjoy a lighted Christmas parade, followed by a drive-through light display at Memorial Park. Children can meet Santa and enjoy holiday treats like hot chocolate and cookies.
